I love this hand scrub!
And, as you can see, it is easy to do.
The summer is a great time of year for our skin to shine. . .even our hands.
Try this for yourself!
My favorite oil to use for this is St. Marie's Lavender

WEIGHT LOSS is NO FUN!
Especially when we are doing all the right things and nothing budges.
Well, how do you know you are doing all the right things? You might think you are but you are missing a few important items.
Here in today's show I answer Bert's question. . . .
"I am 53 y.o. and post menapausal x 2 yrs. I have gained about 10lb. I am 5'2' and 120lbs. I am not saying I am 'fat' but I cannot stand my belly fat. I have tried nutrisystem and other diet pills claiming to lose belly fat. What is your suggestion. I also go to Curves 3x ?eek. I eat fairly well - vegetarian, no fried, little fat, skim milk or soy milk and 3 meals with 2 snacks daily. I drink socially 1x wk. HELP!"
Listen to my suggestions. . . .
And one more thing . . .I recommended "Endoflex" essential oil blend. . .click here to get it

Besides just feelin' plain good when you are at the beach,
you don't have to be there for this simple technique to
deal with overwhelm:
This is a very cool visualization process. . . .
. . . and summer is a good time to do this, because your imagery
is the beach.
Write your issues on paper that are taking up alot of
"real estate in your mind". .. then close your eyes,
write the same thing in the sand, and watch the wave
come up and take it away!

Healthy greens (preferably organic) contain folate, calcium, and other nutrients that support bone health and help prevent age-related eye problems.
Diets high in cruciferous veggies, such as broccoli and cabbage, help reduce memory loss and cancer!
I confess to not taking calcium supplements! but there isn't a day that goes by that I don't have a HUGE portion of dark leafy greens or cruciferous veggies!

Interestingly, Karilee (who's name I love because its like mine
but with a K!) and I are very good friends and go back about
15 years. We are "Holistic Nursing" sisters.
This interview is with Karilee Shames, PhD, RN - who co-authored
this book "Thyroid Power" with her husband Richard ( a medical doctor).
The hour spent in listening to this show is well worth your time.
What I love about what I do is that I see holistically oriented
health care professionals who know sooooo much in the medical
model, through their own trials and tribulations
with a personal health challenge. . .find a way to approach the
problem naturally. They work very hard to heal themselves and
then they turn around and offer that information to the world.
In this interview, Holistic Nurse (with a doctorate) Karilee Shames,
talks candidly about her own challenges with a thyroid issue, and how
she, and her physician husband Richard, have researched this
topic and found very little information. . ..let alone natural approaches.
I think you will enjoy this show, even if you are not challenged with
a thyroid problem. . .you may know someone who is. Or, possibly,
you are a health care professional who oversees the care of
people challenged with this issue.
Karilee ties in the association of the thyroid with the functioning
of our other glands. . .including hormones.
If you have questions about your hormonal functioning you may
want to listen to this as well. You will get lots of resources and ideas!

Maureen Drummond is a mom of two vaccine-injured children.
She has spent more than 17 years, over 9000 hours, in journal article, books, reference materials, attending conferences, hearings, and zillions of phone calls.
This woman is an expert, and a glowing example of someone who took the ball in her hands - to heal her children from vaccine injury, and helping to prevent it in others.
Here is what we talked about. . .
--How to feel empowered questioning the dangers of vaccines
--How to learn to get the facts of what is being injected into the body with vaccines
--Why you should get the information up front and not wait until your children are vaccine injured
--How you shouldn't take at face value what doctors tell you about vaccines and how to get the real facts and decide for yourself
--Natural approaches to support of immune systems for children who have been affected by vaccines
--The potential connection between the skyrocketing autism rates (especially in New Jersey)
--Why certain populations of people (ie - Amish) are not vaccinated, and have no autism
and
And her forthcoming book
"Vaccine Free Me"

There are many natural therapies to help support healing. . .these can often be in conjunction with conventional treatment. One way to support the healing of prostate cancer is with the use of therapeutic grade essential oils.

The air system in our cars can build up mold
and yucky stuff that when we turn it on
(particularly for the first time of the season,
whether air conditioning in the warm weather or
heat in the cold weather) we can get a blast of
that stuff blowing in our face and directly into
our respiratory tract.
Using essential oils (not the perfume-y stuff!
but the good therapeutic kind) can kill the mold
and overgrowth of any harmful organisms that
we don't feel like breathing.

Marilee and Linda Smith
Listen in on this amazing interview! I interviewed Linda Smith who is founder of the Institute of Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy, a program that offers many classes on spritual hands-on healing and a certification program in Aromatherapy.
Linda is an amazing woman who has so much talent. She is one of the best teachers in spritual healing that I have come across. I have known Linda for many years and it has been a pleasure being her good friend. We've taken many journeys together and I think we'll be taking many more.
I hope you enjoy this interview as much as I enjoyed giving it !
